NOTE: Birth Certificate can be issued if birth
occurred anywhere in the state of Texas and a Death Certificate can only be issued if death
occurred within Waller County.

Passport, you will need the long form
Birth Certificate from the
county you were born in. **
The Waller County Clerk's Office can print remote birth certificates for the State of Texas however, the remote birth certificates may not be accepted by the passport office. If you are needing a birth certificate for a passport, you need to request the long form from the county you were born in.
