9-1-1 Rural Addressing
 
A 9-1-1 address must be issued prior to issuance of any permits within the County.  A properly issued    9-1-1 address will help to ensure that emergency services personnel can quickly locate your home or business, if necessary.

HOW TO APPLY FOR A NEW ADDRESS

  • Go to MGO Connect
  • Select Jurisdiction (Upper right hand corner) Texas - Waller County
  • Select Apply Online for a Road and Bridge/911 Permit
  • Create a New Account/Login to Existing Account
  • After Login: Select Option 1: 9-1-1 Address Request (Complete the request and submit it)

The reference number you will need is the R number/Property ID number from the Waller County Appraisal District (it can be found on your tax bill or their website). 

 

Address will be issued in order received, emailed to you via email and your address sign will be made as order is received (you will get a phone call when the sign is ready).

 

HOW TO APPLY FOR AN ADDRESS SIGN (Residential Properties not in a Subdivision)

  • Go to MGO Connect
  • Select Jurisdiction (Upper right hand corner) Texas - Waller County
  • Select Apply Online for a Road and Bridge/911 Permit
  • Create a New Account/Login to Existing Account
  • After Login: Select Option 2: New/Additional 9-1-1 Address Number Sign Application (Complete the request and submit it) 

Address sign will be made as order is received (you will get a phone call when the sign is ready).

Effective September 2, 2020

The Addressing Resolution was revised - address numbers must be 4" in height, posted at the entrance of your property and reflective.  You can find the Resolution on the 9-1-1 Infor tab below.

Effective June 7, 2023

The Addressing Resolution was revised - Residential dwellings within a platted subdivision are exempt from the requirement that number signs be reflective.  All other requirements under this Article 4 still apply to such dwellings.

Note: Subdivisions are not required to have the Address Placards.
