Environmental Division

 

On-Site Septic Facility (OSSF) – Proper disposal of sewage is of utmost importance for personal health and environmental reasons.  Prior to installation of a private septic system contact the Waller County Environmental Division for permit requirements.  Septic systems must be properly designed, permitted, installed and maintained to avoid violations of relevant state and local laws and regulations.  Failure to abide by the regulations could result in both civil and criminal sanctions.  

READ BELOW INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE MAKING A PAYMENT

 

The reference number you will need for a New Permit is the R number/Property ID number from the Waller County Appraisal District (can be found on your tax bill or their website).

The reference number you will need for a Permitted On-Site Sewage Facility system (OSSF) is the permit number (call the office if you do not know the number). Once you make the payment email the receipt to environmental@wallercounty.us

To make a payment by credit card for Environmental ONLY, please use the Make a Payment link

If you have an Environmental or Septic complaint, please email environmental@wallercounty.us to receive a Complaint form.  Once you submit the form the Complaint will be investigated.

Payment is due before an application will be processed.
We accept cash, checks (payable to Waller County) or credit cards (use the credit card payment tab above).
