Elton Mathis

Elton Mathis is the District Attorney for Waller County, where he was first elected to the position in 2006. He completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from Howard Payne University in 1997 and earned a Doctor of Law degree from Baylor University School of Law in 1999. District Attorney Mathis is a Waller County native and a graduate of Hempstead High School. He and the Waller County District Attorney staff remain dedicated to making Waller County a better place to live, work, and raise families.
