Kendric Jones was elected to serve as the Precinct 3 Waller County Commissioner in 2020. Prior to his election to the Commissioner’s Court, he served as a councilman for the city of Prairie View.
Commissioner Jones is an active community servant who is involved in numerous community organizations, and is especially dedicated to his alma mater, Prairie View A&M. Commissioner Jones grew up in Houston, but quickly learned that his heart belonged in Waller County during his first semester in college. He has called Waller County home since 2013 and has been a proud, involved, and dedicated servant of his friends and neighbors ever since.
Commissioner Jones spends his free time cheering on his two favorite teams, Prairie View and Texas A&M, as well as playing his favorite sport, golf.
