John Amsler has served as the Waller County Precinct 1 Commissioner since January 1, 2013, having been reelected in 2016 and 2020. Prior to serving as county commissioner, he was a small business owner and involved citizen. Commissioner Amsler is a lifelong Waller County resident who cares deeply for the people that he has called his friends and neighbors his whole life.
Commissioner Amsler is a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served his nation honorably, and is a proud husband, father, and grandfather.
